Myself

@ Tapovan (4200 m)

Someone once called me eccentric and many labeled me as ‘nomad; my personal feeling is different, however. I don't fall in any of these category but I confess sometimes I oscillate between trough and crest. In a simplest definition, I am a writer by profession and wanderer by passion.

As a professional writer, I had started my career as a freelance journalist for two different print publications: 'The Telegraph' and 'Times of India', I also had a brief stint with television journalism with Sahara Television, but I didn't like it. For bread and butter, I later on switched over to online media and worked and learned extensively.

I've itchy feet and whenever my finance allows me, I travel. I like solo traveling and I believe my desultory roving presents me a different perspective of life every time when I hit the road. Travel for me is sort of religious experience, it is certainly very uplifting and helps me to shed the usual bourgeois attitude.

I'm also a freelance contributor to online and print travel magazines. If you want to put my experiences in your online or otherwise journal, you can contact me at  admin@wackywanderlust.com
